FIEC PhD Thesis Awards
Prix de thèse de doctorat de la FIEC
It is with great pleasure that the FIEC Board announces the FIEC PhD Thesis Awards. Two awards, each worth €1.000, will be awarded triennially. Winners will be announced at the triennial FIEC Congress and will present their work there. The winners’ Congress registration fee, as well as their travel and accommodation costs, will be paid for by FIEC.
Each member society of FIEC may nominate one thesis in each of the following categories:
- Greek and Latin languages, literature, and philosophy, including their reception.
- Greek and Roman history and archaeology, including their reception.

Nominations for the 2028 prize must be made by June 1, 2027.
Le Bureau de la FIEC a l’honneur d'annoncer la création des Prix de thèse de doctorat de la FIEC. Deux prix, d'une valeur de 1 000 € chacun, seront décernés tous les trois ans. Les lauréats seront annoncés lors du congrès triennal de la FIEC et y présenteront leurs travaux. Les frais d'inscription au congrès des lauréats, ainsi que leurs frais de déplacement et d'hébergement, seront pris en charge par la FIEC.
Chaque société membre de la FIEC peut proposer une thèse dans chacune des catégories suivantes :
- Langues, littérature et philosophie grecques et latines, y compris leur réception.
- Histoire et archéologie grecques et romaines, y compris leur réception.
Les critères d'éligibilité, les conditions de soumission et les instructions pour soumettre une candidature sont indiqués dans les pièces jointes ainsi que sur le site de la FIEC sous : www.fiecnet.org/awards.
Les candidatures pour le prix 2028 doivent être soumises avant le 1er juin 2027.
