Al fine di ottenere le sedi più adeguate allo svolgimento del SAEG IX si è reso necessario un piccolo spostamento di date per il nostro convegno.

Sadly, we have just learned that Stephen Mitchell, former president of the AIEGL from 2008 to 2012, passed away at the age of 76.

Dal 9 all’11 gennaio 2025 si terrà la nona edizione del Seminario Avanzato di Epigrafia Greca (SAEG IX). Nel 2025 sarà l’Università di Roma Tre a curare l’organizzazione del SAEG IX.

We published the report of Lorenzo Calvelli and Giovannella Cresci who organized the 22nd edition of the Epigraphic Stage in and around Altino. They won our grant for Epigraphic Educational and Training Courses and Workshops in 2023.

FIEC is proud to announce the first series of lectures celebrating the 75th anniversary of the foundation of FIEC, to be held online in November and December 2023. A second series of lectures will be organized in the course of 2024.

The Fourth North American Congress of Greek and Latin Epigraphy (NACGLE IV) will be held at the University of Chicago on January 8-9, 2024, under the aegis of the American Society of Greek and Latin Epigraphy (ASGLE), and with support from the University of Chicago.

Eine Epigraphische Akademie in Südfrankreich vom 1. bis 10. April 2024 wird als gemeinsame Veranstaltung der Berlin-Brandenburgischen Akademie der Wissenschaften (CIL), des Deutsches Archäologisches Instituts (Kommission für Alte Geschichte und Epigraphik, München) sowie der Universität Heidelberg (Seminar für Alte Geschichte und Epigraphik) ausgerichtet.
